Mysuru: In an act of mockery against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “pakoda” statement, the University of Mysore (UoM) Students’ Federation staged a protest at Manasagangothri on February 18.

The members prepared pakodas near the clock tower as a protest against the Centre’s failure to create jobs as they had promised before the elections.

They also stated that the prime minister should be the brand ambassador for pakodas and bajjis on a global scale.
