Mysuru: Modi’s Mann Ki Baath is running out of steam as it will be difficult to hold people with mere emotional gimmicks, said State Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.

Reacting to media queries on arrival at the Airport to address Congress workers’ convention, the chief minister said, “Let BJP National President Amit Shah carry on with his tours and PM Modi with his campaign and their political gimmicks will have little impact as the knowledgeable state electorate are with us.”

There is turmoil within the BJP itself with its stalwarts Yashwanth Sinha, Subramaniam Swamy and S M Krishna coming down heavily on the functioning of the government and sadly Krishna realised the state of affairs in BJP late, stated CM pointing at BJP’s failures.

On contesting from Chamundeshwari Assembly Constituency in the next general election, CM clarified that the decision will be taken by the part high command. On receiving offers to contest from various constituencies of the state and opposition party JDS’ candidate Shivakumar ready to withdraw from contest in the event of CM taking a plunge from his constituency, CM said, “Those offers are made out of abundant love for me.”
