MLA Puttannaiah to hold a protest on Nov 10

Mysore: Farmers leader and Melkote MLA K S Puttannaiah addressed a press meet on Thursday October 23, concerning  the difficulties faced by the farmers in the district.

Declaring a protest on November 10, Puttannaiah said that the farmers in the district are facing a lot of financial issues as they are not paid properly for their crops.

He further urged the central government to work for the welfare of these farmers. He asserted, that Modi should take care of farmers and at least provide the basic facilities to the farmers, he added.

Assault on IAS officer

With regards to the assault on an IAS officer, he said, “No women should be assaulted in such a way irrespective whether she is an IAS officer or a common woman.”

Those who assault women should be hanged and should be punished severely, he added.

Badagalupura Nagendra, Hosur Kumara, Nagaraju and Hoskote Basavaraju were present in the meet.
