Mysore :  State Minister for Medical Education Sharanaprakash Patil  visited the KR Hospital in the city on November 11, Monday and  had a firsthand account of the various amenities provided for patients  at the hospital. The minister also heard the grievances of the patients during his visit.

The Minister visited the various departments of the hospital and  sought information from the heads of the respective departments. He even  visited the new  emergency ward of the hospital.

Speaking on the occasion, the minister said the government had plans to upgrade the KR Hospital in the near future.

Vasu, local MLA, Dhruvanarayan, MP,  Dr Krishnamurthi, Dr Hanumanthappa, Dr Mohammad Gaus Sharief and Dr BG Sagar, Medical Officers of the hospital were also present.

Earlier, the minister visited the Congress Office on Sayyajirao Road.
