Mandya: Following allegations of power cut during Mandya Lok Sabha independent candidate Sumalatha Ambareesh’s rally, the Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation Limited (CESC) Superintendent Engineer N Srinivasa Murthy visited the electricity board here on Monday, April 1.

Srinivasa Murthy collected necessary data from the three electricity sub stations using Meter Reading Instrument (MRI).

He will be inspecting the data collected from the MRI and submitting the same to the district administration soon.

The MRI machine is capable of collecting data as old as six months.
