Mysuru: A 48-year-old man was killed and three sustained injuries in a head-on collision between two scooters here at T Narasipura on August 20.

Lingaraju from Vatalu Karohatti village is said to be the deceased.

The mishap occured when Lingaraju was on his way on his scooter when a similar two-wheeler moving from the opposite direction collided against it. Consequently Lingaraju died on the spot. Two others who were riding pillion suffered injuries and have been shifted to K R Hospital in Mysuru.

A case has been registered at T Narasipura police station.
