Madikeri: The potholes in the middle of the main road near the Dairy farm on Race course road are causing problems for the students as well as commuters. The city corporation has not taken any action or quick fix to pothole problem, complain college students and the public.
Race Course road is in the Madikeri-Kadamakal-Subrahmanya state highway and everyday hundreds of vehicles ply in this road. Even students in huge numbers use this particular road to go to Field Marshial Kariyappa College. The road also leads to District Police department, Police guest house.

Many deep potholes have opened up in the road near the Dairy farm main road and near Maithri Police Bhavan in Kannika layout. Huge potholes have turned the Road into a virtual death trap for motorists. But the representatives have an irresponsible attitude and have not taken any action to avoid accidents or mishaps on the road.

The students warned to intensify the protest if the city corporation fails to take any action.
