Madikeri: The scenes post death of DySP M K Ganapathi seems to be getting uglier, with his family members reportedly resorting to making statements against his wife.

Harassment from Minister, higher-ups claimed Ganapathi's life?-1Close on the heels of Ganapathi’s brother M K Thammaiah saying that his later brother was hallucinating and hence he made such baseless allegations, Ganapathi’s father Kushalappa today reportedly told the media that it was marital discord that had claimed his son’s life.

Kushalappa reportedly held his daughter in-law Pavana responsible for the death and said, “My son slipped into depression due to marital discord.”

However, after Ganapathi’s death, Pavana has stated that political pressured and departmental harassment killed Ganapathi and she had also refuted the claims that her husband was fighting depression.

Home Minister stands by KJ George

Even as Opposition BJP is trying to take all possible benefits out of the issue, staging protests demanding CBI probe into the case and resignation of Minister for Bengaluru Development K J George, Home Minister Parameshwar has stood by George stating the probe will bring out the truth and there were no grounds to seek George’s resignation as of now.

Police sources too claim that there are no evidences against George barring TV interview that Ganapathi had given before death, which again cannot be treated as concrete evidence.
