Madikeri: Kodagu DC Dr. Richard Vincent D’Souza instructed officials to include missing names, add young voters and update the district electoral rolls by 31st October.
During a briefing, he asked people to meet booth level officials with relevant documents to ensure the inclusion of their names in the electoral rolls. Public can add, delete, modify, seek change in address and delete multiple entries if any by meeting respective officials during this period.
“The draft copy will be available at gram panchyaths, town municipal council offices and taluk offices in the district where public can verify details and seek modifications using relevant forms,” he confirmed.
At the same time he instructed officials to conduct booth level promotion campaign on October 16 and 23 to include young voters in the new rolls as well as help public by providing necessary information.
He assured of finalizing the electoral rolls of agricultural produce marketing confederation in the near future. Officials from several government departments were present during the meeting.
