Further, when she did not conceive in three months of marriage, he also threatened her of marrying again so that he could have babies. However, after all the threats and beatings, Arfiya delivered a baby boy who is now two and half years ago.

Though Arfiya did go back to her parents, every time talks were held and she was forced to return to Sadik, who is an alcoholic and also a drug addict.

Arfiya claims that on March 20 Sadik, his mother Akbari Bhanu, Sisters in-law- Asma, Reshma, brother in-law Athiq Pasha attacked her. When Arfiya collapsed due to attack, petrified attackers had fled the house. On regaining her consciousness, Arfiya went back to her parents and filed a complaint with Periyapatna police.
