Mysore: “Only loyalists should be appointed as Chairmen of Boards and Corporations,” opined former MP H. Vishwanath.
Addressing a press meet at Pathrakarthara Bhavan here today, Vishwanath said that KPCC President and Chief Minister would discuss and finalise on the appointment of Chairmen to Boards and Corporations. However, he batted for loyalists who could deliver results better.
Floods : Referring to the drought and floods in State, Vishwanath sought suitable compensation for farmers by studying the situation in depth by elected representatives.
Dasara Authority: Speaking on Dasara, Vishwanath sought the formation of an exclusive Dasara Authority to manage the festivities instead of doing it at random. He regretted that the authority was in topic but never constituted.
Study tour: Referring to his study tour of London, Vishwanth said that he would write a book on civic arrangements and administration in London highlighting the plus points there and to make people here aware of a good civic body and working style of the Parliament.
