Kushalanagar: If JDS comes back to reign the state administration; all the loans advanced to farmers will be fully waived, assured the former CM and JDS state president H D Kumaraswamy.


Addressing a public meeting at the city car park , here on Sunday April 28, Kumaraswamy said that if JDS comes to reign, Kaveri taluk will be formed on the first stage making Kushalanagar town as taluk center that was the long pending demand of people living in this region, announced Kumaraswamy.
JDS manifesto, stressed on drawing an active project in completing various irrigation works that will be undertaken at a cost of Rs 65,000 crore for the prosperity of farmers. The actions will be taken to reduce the prices of chemical fertilizers by granting subsidy in order to brief relief to farmers distressed over constant hike in its prices. Besides, in order to brief relief to distressed farmers, scientific prices will be fixed to commercial crops, arecanut, coconut, tobacco, maize, paddy, sugarcane etc. The housing project will be developed to house the homeless daily wagers, street vendors and economically-weaker families living in rural and urban areas, by purchasing 100 acres of plot in each taluk, at a cost of Rs 75,000 crore, added Kumaraswamy.
The pension payable to widows, physically challenged and aged will be hiked to Rs 5,000. The employment will be created in private sector to enable the youth to get monthly salary of Rs 10,000, said Kumaraswamy.
The local MLAs are cheating on the people by taking credit for implementation different development works that are approved when he was the Chief Minister, criticized Kumaraswamy.
