When University grants Commission cancelled the recognition of KSOU, the KPSC made it clear that KSOU graduates’ who passed out before 2013 were not eligible to appear or take part in the examinations and interview for first division clerk posts. Subsequently, the KSOU had filed a petition in the High Court seeking review of the KPSC order.

In its interim judgment the high court judge S.Abdul Nazeer favoured the aggrieved graduates’ of KSOU who were at the receiving end due to de-recognition of the open university by University Grants Commission (UGC).

With the latest HC decision smiles are back on the faces of KSOU graduates.

The KSOU Vice chancellor Prof. D.Shivalingaiah has expressed his happiness over the HC decision which has cleared all the confusion that prevailed over the issue.
