Kodagu: District BJP Yuva Morcha’s Yuvashakthi Sangama programme was held at Somwarpet here. In the morning, Yuvashakti Activists took out a massive bike jatha.
Speaking at the rally later, K. G. Bopaiah said that the people of Kodagu are known for their patriotism and the youth power is also standing in support of the BJP on Monday March 13. “The BJP is strong in the District and we have done development works properly. MLA Appachu Ranjan has managed to get the required funds from the Government for the development of many roads,” he noted.
‘He is responsible for the all-round progress of Madikeri Constituency,” he stressed.
Speaking at the conclave, MLA Ranjan said that the BJP has made contributions that no Government has made. “The Congress Government used Backward Communities only for vote bank, but after the BJP Government formed it took note of the problems of such communities and came up with a suitable way to solve their problems,” he said adding that the BJP has made concrete roads in the colonies and given proper facilities to the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe communities.
Ranjan said that the BJP is making a valuable contribution to a well-to-do society by emphasising on education.
State Yuva Morcha President Dr. Sandeep, who arrived as a special invitee for the event, said, “The BJP Yuva Morcha is credited with being the most active in the Country to help the people during the difficult times of COVID – 19. BJP has emerged as the only party among the youth to give the idea of Nation-building and patriotism, adding that the younger generation has a very big responsibility towards the unity of India.
