Mysore: Sri Jayachamaraja Arasu Education Trust (R) and Sri Vanivilas Arasu Women’s First Grade college celebrated the birthday of Sri Jayachamaraja Wodeyar here on July 18 at college premises.

Dr B V Sudha Rani, Assistant Professor, History Department, Maharani Arts and Commerce College, Mysore was the chief guest of the function. The function was presided over by Mahesh N Urs, Secretary of Sri Jayachamaraja Arasu Education Trust (R) Mysore.

Addressing the gathering Sudha Rani told briefly about the history of Sri Jayachamaraja Wodeyar and his contributions to Mysore.

Students and the faculty members were present on the occasion.
