Mumbai: A major fire broke out at Lotus Business Park at Andheri link road in Mumbai’s western suburbs. The building houses many offices, including properties of several film personalities.

The fire started on the 21st floor of the high-rise building and later spread to the 20th floor. Fire fighters rushed to the spot to douse the flames.

According to the fire brigade officials, the exact reason of the fire is yet to be ascertained. It was a major fire and the fire fighters make several efforts to douse the flames.

Sources said that the fire started from the 21st floor and spread to the 20th floor. Noted film personalities, including Rakesh Roshan and Ajay Devgn have offices in the premises.

According to the officials from BMC Disaster Control, “The entire building was vacated immediately after the fire broke out; fortunately no casualties have been reported.
