Mysuru: Numerous organisations along with Left parties have come out in the open supporting the wedding of the Hindu girl with the Muslim boy.

The members of Left Parties’ Joint Committee (LPJC) have slammed the attitude of the right-wing groups such as Bajrang Dal and Rashtriya Swayamsevaka Sangha.

CPM district unit secretary K Basavaraju, said on Friday that, the communal outfits were trying incite communal violence labeling it as ‘Love Jihad’ even after the parents of couple’s families had given their consent for the wedding. He also said that district administration and city police should provide security for the marriage.

The marriage is scheduled to be held on April 17 in Mysuru.
