Mysuru: With a section of Congress members raising voice against the party for giving ticket to a person with criminal background for Graduates’ constituency (South), the person in question, Dr H N Ravindra has said that he is not someone with such credentials.
“I am someone who has had been associated with the Congress and on this ground I have been given the ticket. The victory too will be mine,” he said.

It may be recalled that a section of the Congress member had gheraoed Chief Minister Siddaramaiah over the same issue while shouting slogans of ‘Criminal Hatao, Congress Bachao’, on Thursday.

In this backdrop, Ravindra held a press conference on Friday, April 29 and said that he too is of the opinion that ticket must not go into wrong hands, but he vouched that he is a clean man with clean image.

“I was falsely implicated in the case that by opponent are talking about. I have been proven innocent in the case,” he said.
