Mangaluru: The second additional district and sessions court has rejected the anticipatory bail plea of Naresh Shenoy, one of the prime suspects in the murder of RTI activist Vinayak Baliga. The court rejected the plea on Friday, April 29.

Baliga was hacked to death on March 21 near his house in Kodialbail and close on the heels of this incident, Naresh Shenoy went missing. The police had issue lookout notice too. Soon, Shenoy had made a plea for anticipatory bail, to which the Mangaluru police had objected.

With this, Shenoy has failed to get breather in the case, which has been taken up strongly by other RTI activists and organisations demanding for justice at the earliest.
