Mysuru: Home Minister G Parameshwara on Saturday assured the family of deceased BJP leader’s kin of security following threats from miscreants.Speaking on the occasion of Graduation day at JSS Medical college, he said, “I have directed to provide adequate security to the family. The allegations made by the opposition that evidences of murder were destroyed is not true. The case is very sensitive and it is under investigation, hence I can not reveal any information regarding it,” he said.
The decision of announcing cash prize to those giving information about culprits is just a part of the probe, he added.
Earlier on Friday, Opposition leader K S Eshwarappa had alleged that the government was giving contradictory statements regarding the murder case.
It may be recalled that Raju Kyathemaranahalli, BJP leader and a right wing activist, was hacked to death by miscreants at Netaji Circle on March 13.
