Mysuru: With allegations being made that the government is all set to take soft stance on Challenging Star Darshan, who too has built a house on Rajakaluve encroached land, the star has said that he would not pose any challenge to the government with regard to the issue.
Speaking to reporters on sidelines of his shoot for his upcoming flick ‘Nagarahavu’ in Mysuru, Darshan said that if the house is on Storm Water Drain encroached land then nothing should stop the government from doing its duty.
Darshan had remained tight-lipped till now on the issue. However, commenting on the same on Friday, Darshan said that law cannot treat him any different.
“I will abide by the state government’s decision. The apex court has ordered eviction of encroached storm water drains and if the state government is implementing the same in the right spirit I have no objection to it,” said Darshan who owns a house on a site measuring 40×50.
He further said officials who conducted survey of the area have not submitted any report till date and if there are violations, he is willing to abide by the decision.
