Mysuru: “Fund for the welfare of physically challenged people will be hiked”, said District in-charge and revenue minister Srinivas Prasad.

Speaking at a function on the occasion of  the Physically Challengers Day organised by the District Administration and Women’s and Children Welfare Dept he said that the reserved 3% fund for the physically challenged in the budget will be hiked to 5% and he will speak to CM on this soon.

Adding to him, physically challenged people should be competitive and should involve in various activities and try come to he main stream in the society. He instructed the officers to utilize the fund given to the welfare of physically challenged people.
 
District in-charge and revenue minister Srinivas Prasad, Zilla Panchayat president Pushpa Amarnath, deputy commissioner C Shikha, R Lingappa, Mayor Vice Mayor Mahadevamma, Archana, ADC and other Govt Officials were present in the programme.
