Mysuru: After several episodes of mudslinging openly, former MLA M P Kumaraswamy’s wife has filed for divorce at the Mysuru JMFC Court.

Kumaraswamy’s wife Savitha had earlier alleged that her husband is having an extra-marital affair and that due to this relationship he was neglecting her. Fed up of his persistent harassments, Savitha has decided to go for a divorce.

In her plea she had urged the court to ensure that the former MLA pays Rs 15 lac as alimony and gives a share in his property along with another Rs 5 five lac towards expenses for divorce.

Savitha is presently posted as Assistant Engineer in the Irrigation Department in Mysuru.
