Mysuru: Former Congress MP H Vishwanath on Wednesday said that he has written to the High Command to change the state in-charge minister of the party. He alleged that the present in-charge minister Digvijay Singh has not convened any meeting of the party except visiting the state and returning to Delhi.

Speaking to presspersons here on Wednesday, Vishwanath said, “Digvijay Singh visits the state and returns. He never consults us. He has not convened any meeting with the MLAs or district party presidents. He didn’t even meet the candidates who lost in the last Vidhana Sabha and Loksabha elections.”

He further said that such an in-charge minister must be replaced immediately and should appoint a capable leader like former Union minister Gulam Nabhi Azad. On behalf of other party members, I have written a letter to the High Command, he said.
