M G Road: A hundred and ninety two men of the fhe first batch of men of Karnataka State Industrial Security force (KSISF) took the organization’s oath, here at the Mysuru City Armed Reserve ground (CAR) on Monday during their passing out parade.
Since 1995, seven male police wings have passed out from here, and this is the first men’s wing that will be dedicated for the industrial security purpose. It is established on the lines of the Central Industrial Security force (CISF).

Speaking on the occasion, Raghavendra H Auradkar, ADGP Selection and Training Department said, “The State government had planned to start the KSISF in 2011. After that we have asked many organisations regarding this new project. So all candidates have to understand their responsibility in their job area and should obey the law strictly.”
“Discipline in everyone’s life is necessary to lead a successful life journey. Discipline is the real indicator of success of your life. Don’t get into bad habits. Because, all the family members will depend on you and if you already have any such bad activity, try to avoid that because it might became black mark for your reputation” he told the cadets.
192 men have completed the probationary training. Among them there are 11 post graduates, 111 under graduates and rest of them are B.Ed graduates, D.Ed, PUC and SSLC.
The probationers were trained according to the academic syllabus proposed by the Ghore committee. The trainees were trained with modern security facilities under the guidance of ADGP (R&T).
Umesh Belagankar received the all round best prize, Krishna D received Good Character Prize, Chethan R and Rakesh D J received first and second prize for indoor activity, while Nagaraj M N and Krishna Phad won the awards for the best outdoor activity. the Rifle Shooting prize went to Basavaraja Satale while Sidda Gangayya S K stood second
