Mysuru: There are crooks trying to forge vulnerable people around, but this father-son duo dared to forge documents and sell away the land belonging to the Mysuru Royal family!
However, in the ‘Royal’ bid, the two have landed in police net.

The arrested are Shyamuyal and his son Sandeep.

In 2009, the two had forged the signature of the then Wodeyar Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wodeyar at the Sub Registrar Office and tried to sell a site belonging to the royal family at Devaraja Junction.

The said site belongs to Gunamba Trust headed by Her highness Pramoda Devi Wodeyar.

In connection to the land dealing, Trust Secretary Anatharaju was arrested about ten days ago.
