Moodabidri: Dharun, 20-year-old, I B.Com student of Alvas College has made the country proud by bagging gold medal in 400 mts hurdle race (50.54 sec) in men’s category, in the South Asian Games held at Guwahati.
In a press release Alvas Education Foundation Chariman Dr M Mohan Alva has lauded the efforts put in by Dharun and his achievements.

He has prayed that the students of Alvas who have been bagging accolades at the international sports meet must make their presence felt in Olympics as well.
