Mysore :With the view of reducing the traffic snarls on citys main streets, the route has been changed on experimental basis for city buses that ply from Ayurveda Hospital through Irvin Road, Ashoka Road to halt at city bus stand, said city traffic ACP Prabhakar Barky.
The motorists and two-wheeler riders are facing hardship owing to traffic snarls on Irvin Road, and it would take long time to reach the city center. In order to ease this situation, the route has been changed on experimental basis for city buses that used to ply through Ayurveda Hospital roundabout, Irvin Road Laskar police station to reach the city bus stand, now had to ply on Ayurveda roundabout, Sayyajirao Road, Prabha cinema theater and the wall clock.
It will eliminate traffic snarls on Irvin Road and Ashoka Road to a large extent, added ACP Prabhakar.
