Mysuru: In a case related to sexual harassment, a cluster resource counsellor (CRC) associated with education department in HD Kote sector was suspended by the Block development officer (BDO).

The suspended person is N. Prakash from H.D. Kote cluster. He was allegedly harassing a teacher.

In a complaint to the Block development officer, the teacher’s husband showed several sexually provocative messages sent to his wife’s mobile over a period of time. She is an assistant teacher in a higher primary school in H.D. Kote cluster where the suspended CRC was in-charge.

The BDO sent a report based on the complaint to the Deputy Director of Public Instruction (DDPI) HR Prakash, who after verification of the report placed CRC N.Prakash under suspension and ordered a departmental inquiry into the case.
