Mysuru: The Chamundi Temple of Mysuru will remain closed for one hour during the solar eclipse period on Wednesday, March 9.
As per the temple authorities the eclipse will occur from 5.54 am to 6.54 am, during which the temple will be closed.
Everyday, the temple of the presiding deity of Mysuru-Chamundi Ammanavara Temple opens at about 5.30 am, but on Wednesday due to the Solar eclipse, the temple will shut down at 5.54 am and reopen at 6.54 am, following which the first prayer will be offered at 9 am.
The Mahamangalarathi will be performed at 9.30 pm and close for the day as usual.
