Mysuru: A drunk lorry driver, driving in a haphazard manner killed two youth on a motorcycle in a tragic accident on the outskirts of Hunsur town on Tuesday, July 5.

Kirthi (20) and his friend Chadrashekahar (21) are the deceased who were returning from Bannikuppe to Hunsur on the motorcycle.

The youth, on their way to Hunsur town were caught unawares when the lorry hit their motorcycle from the rear. The innocent youth lost their lives on the spot in the accident.

Reports suggest that, the cotton bale laden lorry was traveling in a zigzag manner at the time of accident which is a clear indication to prove that the driver was drunk and had no control over the vehicle when the accident took place. The lorry was on its way from Mysuru to Madikeri.

The police arrived at the spot soon after the accident and arrested the lorry driver. They have registered a case and are investigating.
