Mysuru: The police investigation into a recent murder case in Jayanagar Extension here has brought to light some baffling pieces of information, including a shocking fact that the victim was murdered by his own friend after the two got into a tiff over an alleged affair with a widow.
It is now believed that Dinesh, the victim was killed by his own friend Manu.

The dead body of Dinesh was found dumped outside his house recently.

Investigating the case, when the cop obtained Dinesh’s call record details, it was found that he had made last call to Manu.

Manu opened the Pandora’s box and revealed about the widow in question and also confessed to the crime.

He also admitted that he had made several attempts to kill Dinesh on few earlier occasions following clashes between them. However on Friday he managed to get Dinesh fully drunk and kill him. Later he carried the body in the night and threw it in front of Dinesh’s house.

During the funeral of Dinesh , Manu staged a drama as he wept unceasingly lying over the dead body to express his sorrow in an attempt to hide his crime. His attempts to hoodwink the police have failed.
