Mysore: As per media reports, Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar of the Mysore royal family had breathed his last in a hospital in the city. But  according to  the Palace workers he had died while in the palace itself.

According to sources, Wadiyar  was resting after his lunch at 1.30 am with his  neck backward in the chair. When one of the workers informed him about the arrival of some visitors, he had just shook  his  head. But when some workers went closer to Wadiyar at around 1.45 pm he was found sleeping in the same position. They were  worried and came closer to him when they realised that he had died.  A senior personnel of the palace said  Wadiyar was immediately shifted to the hospital hoping to revive him, but his body had turned cold half way through.

By the way none of the members of the royal family of Mysore have survived more than 62 years  and the last scion too died at the age of 60.
