Mysuru: A woman who reportedly used to get possessed by a spirit ended life on April 18 at Marballihundi village in Jayapur Hobli.

Kavitha(30), wife of Chikkannegowda is the housewife who ended her life. It is said that over the last several years, Kavitha used to act weird during the full moon night. It was learnt that she was possessed by a spirit and this had left Kavitha in a depressed state.

On Monday, Kavitha allegedly consumed poison.

Though she was rushed to a hospital, she died in the hospital. A case has been registered at Jayapura police station.
