Mysuru: Farmer suicides continue in the Chief Minister’s constituency with another farmer committing suicide on Thursday, April 28, after a bank slapped notice against him.
Ramu (50) from Chikkamalalli village in Piriyapattana is the deceased farmer.

He had a loan of Rs 2 lakh from Syndicate bank for tobacco cultivation. He had also borrowed money from private individuals.

Drought on one side and the notice from the bank on the other, to repay the loan, scared him and hence he committed suicide by consuming poison.

He had an agricultural land of 2 acres and 18 guntas.
