Seer rape case: K’taka High Court issues notices

Bengaluru: The legal battle between pontiff of Ramchandrapura mutt and Premalatha seems not to end soon, as High Court of Karnataka on Thursday has admitted an appeal made by CID and issued notices to both the parties before adjourning the hearing.

CID had appealed to quash the session court’s order related to the rape case filed by Premalatha and others.

Hearing the plea made by CID, Justice A V Chandrashekar allowed the petition and issued notices to Raghavendra Shree, Premàlatha and others.

The matter is expected to come for hearing after the vacation.
