Marigowda miffed with DC for bar license cancellation

It is learnt that the DC had cancelled the license of a bar owned by Marigowda citing violation of rules. This decision by the DC enraged Marigowda who was on the lookout to avenge humiliation which ultimately led him and his supporters to the government guest house. He and his men then abused DC Shikha and threatened her when she was about to board the car after seeing off the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.

Instead of joining the CM at the Ifthar meet, she drove straight to Nazarbad police station to lodge a complaint against Marigowda, former ZP president and a close confidant of CM Siddaramaiah.
