Mysore: Measures are being taken to remove the illegal propaganda advertisements including banners and cutouts, said District In-charge Minister Srinivas Prasad along with Pushpa Amarnath Zilla Panchayat President.









Speaking to media, Srinivas Prasad said that strict action will be taken against those who stick the posters on the trees without the permission of City Corporation. The instigation is made to maintain cleanliness during Dasara.
He also added that placing flex and banners will be controlled during the season, permission will be granted only to the advertisers who have a proper approval from City Corporation and police station of that area.
Keeping Dasara in mind he said that the repair of roads connecting Mysore will do soon be done and the state government has already lined up 5 crores in budget sanctions for this.
Adding to the comments Pushpa Amarnath ZP, president speaking to NewsKarnataka said that the process of removing nails and posters will commence from today and continue for a week. Several children from around the schools in the city will be volunteering, she added.
