Mysore: A cylinder blast took place in a house near Siddappa square Mysore on Saturday July 19, late night by 11.30 pm.

The owner of the house has been identified as Abhishek. At the time of the incident Abhishek was in the house along with his wife Padmini, their 10-month-year old baby and his elderly mother Hindumani.

The gas cylinder started leaking; swiftly the family rushed outside the house and took shelter in their neighbor’s house.

The house blasted due to the intensity, and a lot of damage has been reported. Fortunately the family was safe however Abhishek sustain injuries and has been admitted to Bhanavi Hospital.
