Cops nab 11 Thieves, Recover valuables worth Rs 53 Lac

Mysore :The city cops arrested a total of 11 persons and recovered jewellery, car, two-wheeler and laptops altogether worth Rs 53 lac, related to different cases.

The city sleuths were able to solve a total of 11 cases that were registered in different police stations across the city.  The key accused Deepak who is held in police custody at Devaraj station has stolen jewellery worth Rs 30 lac.  When the police interrogated Deepak, he confessed of 11 thefts in different localities.  The police seized a car and a motorcycle from Deepak.

The sleuths of Narasinda station nabbed a certain Munniraju, a native of Krishnagiri in Hosoor taluk and recovered jewellery altogether worth Rs 23 lac.  The cops of Vijayanagar station arrested 3 two-wheeler thieves and seized 5 motorcycles worth Rs 2 lac.

Inspector S N Kantharaju,TSI Lepaksha,K Puttananjappa conducted the operation.
