Mysuru: All efforts are being made to convince Mysuru DC Shikha to withdraw the case filed against CM’s close friend Marigowda.

Marigowda had hurled abuses at DC Shikha publicly, following which the DC had lodged a complaint.

After an effort to convince the DC failed sometime last week, CM Siddaramaiah had reportedly called upon DC Shikha and her husband Ajay Nagabhushan for a meeting at his residence ‘Cauvery’ in Bengaluru on Saturday evening with the aim to convince Shikha to withdraw the case. However, the details of meeting are not available.

Meanwhile, it is said that car of Marigowda who has been at large since the episode unfurled, was found parked outside a house in Mandya on Saturday.

The white Fortuner with registration number KA09 MB 5508 has been parked at residence of Anand, driver of Marigowda at M G Extension in Mandya.

It is said that Marigowda had told Anand that he was leaving to New Delhi. The car has been covered with plastic sheet.
