Mysuru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and BJP Parliamentary Board member BS Yediyurappa shared a stage in Mysuru on Saturday, marking a rare occurrence in Karnataka’s political landscape.

The event, organized to pay tribute to former minister V. Srinivasa Prasad who recently passed away, was hosted by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Education and Cultural Trust, Samanate-Swabhimana-Swavalambane Foundation, and Samanate Prakashan. It provided a unique opportunity for leaders to come together.

Sitting side by side, Siddaramaiah and Yediyurappa exchanged pleasantries. The Chief Minister even tucked the slip given by Yediyurappa into his shirt pocket, sparking a brief conversation between the two.

Before the Chief Minister’s arrival, JDS MLA G.T. Deve Gowda addressed the audience and swiftly departed from the program.

Among the dignitaries present were District In-charge Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa, MP Pratap Singh, MLAs T.S. Srivatsa, A.R. Krishnamurthy, and Darshan Dhruvanarayan. Srinivasa Prasad’s wife Bhagyalakshmi, C.S. Dwarkanath, PGR Scindia, and Srinivasa Prasad’s daughters and sons-in-law and others were present.
