Mysuru: In a shocking incident, more than 10 children have fallen ill after being denied food on time at Bala Mandira here in Mysuru on Wednesday. The children have been shifted to K R Hospital.
The children staying at Balamandira situated on Lalitmahal Road are undergoing treatment in ICU and reportedly out of danger.

A girl staying at the house said that they were not provided food on time and it was also of low quality. “If we inform our in-charge, they scold us and starve,” she added.

But the assistant director of Department of Women and Child Welfare, Radha, has something else to say. “Four children were shifted to hospital for viral fever and rest of the children got admitted out of fear,” she said.
