Chamarajanagar : A young engineer  has  ended his life reportedly due to harassment by a Panchayat President and Development Officer of Kuratti Hosur. He  doused himself with kerosene and set himself ablaze on Monday June 23.

The deceased Suresh (24), a  civil engineer was in-charge of the  Employment  Guarantee Scheme in Kollegal taluk,  on a contract basis. 

Dr KH Narasimhamurthi, ZP CEO of Chamrajnagar has  said that an investigation would be undertaken into the case.
