Mysuru: In a head on collision between a Canter truck and bike near Bochikatte temple cross on Hunsur – H D Kote Road, three members of the same family died on January 31.

Srinivas (35), Uma (30) and Chaitra (10), all residents of Yedethore Palya of H D Kote taluk are the unfortunate victims.

All three died on the spot when they were on their way to the weekly fair at H D Kote. The speeding truck coming from the opposite direction hit the bike resulting in the tragedy.

Police arrived at the spot immediately and pacified the violent villagers of Udragadwara gathered at the accident spot and took the Canter truck into their possession.

Further investigation is in progress.
