BSF Guard, native of Mandya District Dies in Boat Mishap

K R Pete: J Jayarame Gowda (32), a native of Agraharabachahalli village, Mandya district, who was serving in Border Security Force (BSF) and was deployed on Indo – Bangladesh border in Assam state, died in a boat mishap at Surma river.

 

                     

Jayarame was the youngest among six children of the late Dodda Jaware Gowda and Nanjamma farming couple, residing in Agraharabachahalli village.  He joined BSF in 2002 and was deployed Indo – Bangladesh border in Katar district of Assam since the past 11 years.  

Jayarame had returned to his native on vacation two months ago and joined the duty again on June 4.  He was married to Maniyamma, a native of Kesuvinakatte village of Nagamandala taluk 6 years ago and the couple has a two-year-old daughter Mamata.

The mortal remains of Jayarame likely to arrive Mandya Deputy Commissioners office through Bangalore on Friday July 12 evening, followed by last rites that will take place in his native village Agraharabachahalli village with state honour, informed MLA K C Narayan Gowda, DC B N Krishnayya, Tahsildar Ahobalayya to the media persons.
