Mysore: Sky diving is here in Mysore for the adventure freaks who would  to fly  like a bird and enjoy the thrill of it.

Delhi based Kashini Enterprises has organised a sky diving camp  at the Mandakalli Airport at Mysore. Bangalore based entrepreneur  Nitish was the first to have the hair rising sky diving experience.

Nitish  was taken in a light aircraft Cessna  172 piloted by Harshad Gupta with sky diving champion Alish  of Europe also on board. He was then  out of the aircraft  in a parachute, after the aircraft reached 10,000 feet above ground level. The  moment was captured in cameras fitted in the  aircraft. Alish also captured images of Mysore airport and Chamundi Hills in the micro camera tied to his hand. After a sky diving for  five minutes, Nitish made a safe landing.

The sky dive from a height of 10,000 feet is called Tandem jumping and a participant is trained for the purpose. If a 15 minute duration is given to those opting for Tandem jumping, a daylong training is given for those who wish to go for static line jump.

Only those with medical certificates and photo ID cards are permitted to this camp.
