Mysore: The BJP activists barred the woman who accused former Minister SA Ramdas of exploiting her from entering the hospital premises on Friday February 14, at the Apollo BGS Hospital.

Many BJP workers, including members of the party’s Mahila Morcha, assembled outside the hospital since morning. A section of BJP activists, mainly women, staged a dharna near the hospital and raised slogans when they learnt that the woman, Prema Kumari had arrived to meet him.

They then were upbraided by the police and hospital security for being inconsiderate towards other patients, following which the activists dispersed from the scene. The police also were forced to use mild force to disperse the mob.

Earlier, Ramdas was admitted to the hospital after he tried to commit suicide when the Prema Kumari had gone public about the “affair”.
