Mangalore: The-three-day annual flower show at Kadri Park was showcased to the public on Saturday February 15; the district in-charge minister B Ramanath Rai inaugurated the exhibition by cutting the ribbon in the presence MLA J R Lobo and H R Yogesh from the department of horticulture.








































Around 35 stalls are been exhibited in the flower show with unique plants and flowers in all shapes and colours. The entrance has an elephant decorated with greenery as well as there are two buffalos made out of Dutch roses representing the traditional festival of Kambala.
Among the 35 stalls, 10 are by government while others are of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and self-help groups (SHGs). The stalls offer agricultural produce, milk products, seeds, flowers, agriculture related magazines, organic and natural food products.
J R Lobo addressing the gathering appreciated the initiative of such an unique exhibition and encouraged local tradition.
