Mysore : The general public were hit had by the two-day bank strike  which began on February 10, Monday  as per the call given by the United Forum of Bank Union in support of various demands including pay revision.

In Mysore it was a common sight to see many members of the general public who were unaware aboiut the strike, returning disappointed from various bank branches.

The cash deposited in most of the ATMs in the city were also exhausted as people relied on ATMs to withdraw more cash.
